Problem description:

Temperature field in the stator tooth zone of power
synchronous electric machine. Domain is a segment of stator
transverse section. Two armature bars laying in the slot
release ohmic loss. Cooling is provided by convection to the
axial cooling duct and both surfaces of the core.

Geometry is as follows:
     Slot height = 0.074m;
     Slot width = 0.02m;

     Bar height = 0.029m;
     Bar width = 0.015m;

     Wedge height = 0.005m;

     Stator inner diameter = 0.9m;
     Stator outer diameter = 1.112m;

     Cooling duct diameter = 0.015m.

Parameters:

     Specific copper loss = 3.6E+05 W/m**3;

     Heat conductivity of steel = 25 J/(Km);
     Heat conductivity of copper = 380 J/(Km);
     Heat conductivity of insulation = 0.15 J/(Km);
     Heat conductivity of wedge = 0.25 J/(Km);

     Inner stator surface:

          heat transfer coefficient = 250 W/(mK);
          temperature of contacting air = 40C.

     Outer stator surface:

          heat transfer coefficient = 70 W/(mK);
          temperature of contacting air = 20C.

     Cooling duct:

          heat transfer coefficient = 150 W/(mK);
          temperature of contacting air = 40C.

Problem is plane-parallel.
