Technical Info About the Setup Program

If you have any problems installing or using this program, please send an e-mail to Focus@rajeware.com.

The setup program will copy all but three of its files to the directory you choose, typically C:\Program Files\DailyScd. There are three common files, often used by other Windows programs, that might be copied to the shared Windows directory:

mscal.ocx - Microsoft Calendar Control
oleaut32.dll - Microsoft supporting file
olepro32.dll - Microsoft supporting file

The setup program will version check existing copies of the three files. It will not overwrite the files if you have newer versions on your machine. It will register the three files to make them available to all your Windows applications.

The setup program will add two new registry keys, both for 'RAJE Software'. One will be under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software, the other under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software.

Should you decide to remove Focus, see the help file for instructions.

A NOTE TO WINDOWS NT USERS: Focus provides an option to start everytime you boot Windows, or to start only the first time you boot Windows each day. These options require Administrative privileges to activate. As an alternative, you could add a shortcut to your Windows startup folder.
