MthX equation: ActiveX equation editor control for Windows 95, NT 4

PURPOSE:----------------------------------------------
1) Used as in-place-active equation editor in MS-Word, Excel.
2) Used in Visual Basic as an equation editor control. Access 'text' property. Automatically converts to text from WYSIWYG equation (and vice versa).
3) Used in Visual C++.

INSTALLATION:-----------------------------------------
1) unzip the contents of MX.zip in c:\temp
2) Copy MX.ocx and MX.hlp to the windows system directory
 (typically: c:\winnt\system32 or c:\windows\system32)
3) run regsvr32.exe from Start menu..Run to register the control, eg:
 (c:\temp\regsvr32.exe /s c:\winnt\system32\mx.ocx ) or as appropriate.
4) the files mx.lib, mx.tlb, mx.exp may be required for Visual C++ development but can be deleted otherwise.
5) to use the software in MS Word: From Insert menu, choose Insert Object, 'MthX Equation'. You may have to scroll down the list box. It is recommended that you make a macro as shortcut.
