SecureClean - Securely deleting your files.
v2.1 s4

Windows and NT never fully clean your system of deleted documents,
emails, and temporary files. This includes your most private data
that you intended to wipe out forever. All of these deleted files
can still be read even after emptying the Recycle Bin. In fact all
Windows and NT based PCs contain deleted files that can be
retrieved by any average computer user. This leaves you vulnerable
to unintentional security holes and curious eyes that will view
your private deleted documents.

This demo includes:
1) Copy of SecureClean that allows you to clean your drives 3 times
and securely delete (zap) 10 times.

deleted information left in your drive's unused space.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Prove it to yourself.

The following is an easy and quick way to see how deleted data
still exists after you have deleted it:

1) Run the SecureClean Drive Viewer program.
2) Copy a readable text file to a diskette.
3) Clean the diskette by selecting the drive letter A: and
   pressing "Clean Selected Drive."
4) After the diskette has been cleaned, scan the diskette for
deleted data by pressing "Begin Scan."
5) You will see that all deleted data will have been removed from
   the diskette.
6) Now delete the text file that you copied to the diskette. Is
   it really gone?
7) Scan the diskette again by selecting drive A: and pressing
   "Begin Scan."
8) You will see your text file still exists on the drive in the
   deleted space.
9) Clean drive A: again by pressing "Clean Selected Drive".
10) You will see that your text file is now securely deleted and
    cannot be recovered.

NOTE: You can also securely delete files by selecting Zap files
from the SecureClean right-click menu option or by dragging
them onto the desktop SecureClean File Zap icon.
