If memory serves, jr was first (1984).  Some of the modes are
similar, namely the medium res 16 color mode that the regular PC
couldn't do.

jr was crippled unfortunately -- no DMA, only 85% as fast as a
4.77 MHz PC, no hard disk capability, only one floppy, the
chiclet keyboard.  It wasn't a bad machine for the day, just
inconvenient.  My college sold me one in 1984 .. you don't want
to know the cost :)

At least I got 1/3 of the cost back when I sold it in 1985!
