Can anyone help me find a Windows printer driver for a Tandy 130A
printer? Thanks.

Tom,
The Tandy DMP-130 and 130A emulate the pure IBM Graphics
printer providing the dip switches are set correctly for IBM and
not Tandy emulation. If you pick the IBM Graphics driver it
will work. As I said before in notes to another individual I
used the Epson FX-185 driver. With the narrow carriage of the
130 you could use the FX-85 driver. Just remember that the 130A
has the Tandy Centronics plug and not an IBM plug. This requires
that cable number 26-227 be purchased at your local Radio Shack
store.
Do *NOT* connect the printer to an IBM clone computer as the
least that will happen is that it will lock up and the most
drastic thing that can happen is that the parallel port on your
computer will short out and become useless.
Good luck and just be careful..................BobR in the

Thank you so much, for taking the time to supply this detailed
information. I wouldn't have guessed that the cable could be such
a concern. This is a valuable aid. Again, I appreciate your
sharing this.
