I have a 4825sx/25 which I have recently upgraded by adding a
80486dx2/50 cpu.
Seems to be working quite well, altho I haven't tested the new
capability of
the math coprocessor yet.
Question: the setup482 utility seems to work also, as I didn't
get a 'setup485'
program at the same time. If I later upgrade to a type 586, will
the same
setup utility also work on the 586?

I also have a 80386sx/25 computer with separate 80387
coprocessor. Will the now
unused 80486sx/25 chip be a directly compatible replacement for
the 80386sx/25?
If so, would the 386's setup work with the 486 chip in place or
require the
'setup482' utility? thx, -ph
