Program Notes for Taskbar for OS/2 version 2.50
-----------------------------------------------

The documentation for this program is contained in the
following files:

Manual.INF ..... On-line version of documentation. Use the OS/2 VIEW
command to view the on-line documentation.

Manual.DES ..... Program documentation in DeScribe v5.0 format.

Manual.PCL ..... HP Laserjet (PCL5) version of documentation. To print it,
either drag and drop the Manual.PCL file object onto your
printer icon, or type PRINT /b Manual.PCL at the OS/2
                     command line.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of Taskbar:

It is *very* important that you follow *exactly* the installation
instructions contained in the program documentation. Don't just
unzip the contents of this archive into your existing taskbar
    program directory.

Notes on the hot key feature and non-US keyboards:

At installation, the hot key feature is assigned to the Ctrl+Alt+'<'
and Ctrl+Alt+'>' keys. On the US keyboard, the '<' and ',' symbols
and the '>' and '.' symbols are assigned to the same keys. If you
are using a non-US keyboard, try activating the hot key feature
using Ctrl+Alt',' and Ctrl+Alt+'.'. If these key combinations
don't work, you will need to go to the Keys page of the Taskbar settings
notebook and set the hot key assignments to something that is compatible
    with your keyboard.

Redistribution policy:

You may upload the contents of this archive to various on-line services
    with the following conditions:

        1) You must upload the complete unmodified contents of this archive.
                               -------- ----------

        2) Please do not upload this program to the following sites:

                Compuserve
                Internet: ftp-os2.hobbes.nmsu
                          ftp-os2.cdrom.com
                Pete Norloff's OS/2 Shareware BBS

These are the primary distribution sites for Taskbar, therefore
they will already have copies of the latest version of the program.

        3) If you are a registered user of Taskbar you (naturally) may not
share your registration name or ID.

Registration:

See the 'Registration information' section of the on-line documentation
for information on how to register the program.
