You already know, if you are a Windows Vista user,
that the operating system always asks whether you
really want to do what you want to do.

To avoid this, we included within the Lsdiorw.exe
service and the various installers and uninstaller
the so-called elevation manifest needed. It should
run as advertized.

If not, right click on the Lsdiorw.exe executable
and check the line Run as an administartor. Validate.
Do the same with the interactive installer
(lsdinst.exe).

Before installing the new version of the
service Lsdiorw, the installer tries to uninstall
the former version (used with version 6.2
of MacDisk). If you get an error about this,
you must uninstall the previous version of
the service Lsdiorw.exe (to be found in the
Lsdiorw subfolder).

To this end, run the unstserv.exe uninstaller
(or the program lsdinst.exe and click on the
'Uninstall' button) and then delete lsdiorw.exe.

Now run the installer again (instserv.exe, or the
program lsdinst.exe and click on the button 'Install').

You can also install the service using
following command line:
lsdiorw /install (you may add /silent
to suppress the messages).
