INTRODUCTION

Facing many MIS personnel today is the issue of customer 
support.  There are a variety of applications on the market that 
attempt to automate this function.  This product was designed by 
people working the front lines.  It offers intuitive usage that 
makes it easy for non-technical people to enter a call, yet it 
offers convenient searching and other reporting that will 
delight technical users of all levels.

We have tried to make this as easy to use as possible.  We hope 
that you find it so.  In the event that you do not find it easy 
to use, please let us know at the address below.

NOTE:  Before you read any further, WE ARE WORKING ON A WINDOWS 
VERSION OF THIS UTILITY.  

This software is shareware.  Meaning, CSS owns the software and 
all trademark,  copyrights, etc, and CSS grants you the user a 
license to use it.  If you use it, please send a $49 payment and 
register the software.  CSS will be expanding and upgrading as 
the needs of our clients dictate.  In addition, CSS will be 
designing tools to assist companies in getting on the internet.

Registering will get you on a mailing list for important 
technical  information, a possible newsletter, new product 
information, enhancement information and most importantly, it 
will guarantee that we will read any suggestions you have for 
future versions.  

Customized Service Systems, Inc., ("CSS") will make every effor 
to include GOOD suggestions from registered users in future 
releases.

Your registration is good for 1 year.  However, anyone who 
registers in 1995,  will automatically be registered through all 
of 1996.  That means that you can use the software, but that you 
will not be eligible for upgrades unless you keep up your 
registration fee.

This version is a DOS based version.  The Windows version should 
be available in the 4th quarter of 1995.  Anyone who registers 
the DOS version before August 1, 1995, will be eligible for a 
first "look" at the Windows version (see enclosed order form for 
more information).

We have utilities to print the help system to text files.  Just 
send us a note, and we can tell you how to get those utilities.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Contained with this text file should be a self extracting zip 
file.  You need only to create the directory that you wish to 
install this software to, change to that directory and then run 
the extract program.  All necessary indexes are created 
automatically as you execute the program.

For example, 

change to the root directory of the desired drive:

CD\<enter>

MD HELPD11<enter>

CD HELPD11<enter>

pkunzip a:HELPD11<enter>

The last step may take a few moments as it extracts and creates 
the necessary files.

To start the software, type:  HELPD<enter>.

Additional information regarding the software can be found in 
the help system.  F1 is the primary help key, and Ctrl-F1 when 
in the help system will show you a list of topics.
