Version 3.61 includes the following enhancements:

The transaction view screen has been rearranged. The first display
now includes all pertinent check information, with the second
display containing the memo/payee fields and transaction category.

The check register function no longer asks you to specify the
special category code for checking. In addition, you are now able
to toggle the reconciliation for any transaction, including a
    deposit.

You may now void a transaction using <Alt-V> in the transaction
view screen. This will set the amount to $0.00 and reset the charge
category to VOID, and the transaction category is set to "Voided
transaction". Once a transaction has been voided, you may not edit
    the transaction.

Upon entering more than one transaction, the program remembers the
previous account # and date used, and places you at the date prompt.

The date prompt now defaults to overwrite mode rather than insert mode.

A new sort has been added. You may sort by account number and check/id
number. This will sort all your accounts, and within each account,
it will sort by check/id number.

You no longer have to press <Esc> after sorts.

In the check register screen, <Enter> will now toggle the reconciliation
field and then move to the next transaction.

When choosing the statement computer the prompt to view checks not on
statement has been reworded to say transactions rather than checks.

When choosing to load a new file, you may now simply enter a directory
and the program will prompt you for a directory listing. In addition,
if you enter any wildcards (* or ?), the program will correctly
prompt you with a directory listing.

Versions 3.56 - 3.60 were test versions only.

Version 3.56 fixes the following problems found in version 3.55:

The program would not correctly load databases from a floppy disk
drive. Also, the program did not like it if your database files were
not located in the current directory. This has been fixed.

Errors on file sorts were very uninformative, in fact the program
would just give up! File sort errors have now been merged with the
    general error handling routine.

When you requested a directory listing, the listing box would include
every drive letter possible under DOS. While very nice if you happened
to have 26 drives, it was annoying if you only had 3 or 4 drives. This
listing will now display only the drives actually available on the
    sytem.

Version 3.55 fixes the following problems found in version 3.54:

Several users reported system lock ups when using the DOS shell
command. This was traced to a problem in the disk swapping routine
used in the program. We have therefore REMOVED disk/EMS swapping
capabilities from the program until we can resolve the problem.
For now the program will leave approximately 251K of itself in
    memory.
SupremeSoft apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Several of the newer display boards (VLB accelerators in particular)
would not correctly display the 28/43/50 line modes. We have changed
our display routines to detect, and adapt, to these new boards.

Version 3.54 fixes the following problems found in version 3.52:

If an automatic transaction was entered and the new transaction was
to be placed underneath the open transaction window, the transaction
view screen would not correctly display the new transaction

Several users reported that automatic transactions would get added
to the wrong file sets. This was not a bug, but a design flaw.

BAM will now refuse to run under DOS versions previous to 3.30.

Version 3.54 adds the following features:

An automatic transaction can now belong to a specific file set. That
is, if you maintain one set of files called BAM, and the other set
called OTHER, the automatic transaction now is "owned" by the file
    set it was created under.

When adding a new account, the program will now scan for the first
free account number, rather than presenting you with a defined
    incremental default.

Important information concerning automatic transactions:

If you are a version 3.5x user, you MUST update your BAM.AUT file by
running the UPDATE program. This program will display the automatic
transactions that are currently defined, and will ask you to assign
each one to a specific file set.

If you change an automatic transactions' date, it will NOT cause the
program to reset its internal date of when the transaction was last
processed. However, the program will update the DAY on which the
transaction will be processed in future. For example, if you originally
had a transaction date of 04-30-93 and changed it to 04-26-93, the
program will change the process day to the 26th of the month.

Version 3.52 fixes the following problems found in version 3.51:

If the automatic transaction was entered before a change in year,
the program would not correctly enter further automatic transactions.
