1. About OTD Command Centre

Command center is not a comprehensive list of router commands.

It is a customised list of the commands most frequently used
in router and switch configuration / maintenance tasks.

The Command Center typing tool is designed to give you the best
chance of passing your exam by honing your command knowledge to
include the shortest version of the most used commands and give
practice in typing them in to a command line like simulator.

Remember "Time is the killer" and any way to better manage your
time in the exam will increase your chances of passing.

We have used many resources to collect and filter the command
base to one that we feel will give you the best and most useful
practice.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6. Module selection

OTD Command center (Copyright), has multiple modules built into to it in order
to provide an extensive variety of tools to assist you in passing your exam. You
have purchased the Cisco Configuration training module. Please note that other
modules are due for release soon that will snap into the existing installation
of command center. Monitor our website for updates. www.otd.com.au.

To enter the module you would like to run, select it and select the next button.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7. Configuration selection

The configuration screen displays a breakdown of all the available components
located in the selected module. Within the Cisco training module, you have the
ability to launch six different sets of commands using the tabs provided. We
have also given you the option to select the MASTER component. This
quiz contains the entire collection of critical commands for you to attempt.

During the quiz, the selected module draws questions randomly and repeatedly.
This ensures that you become familiar with all commands, and proficient in their
execution. Repetition is the key to passing this exam. We believe that time is
the biggest killer, so by executing the shortest commands fast and
efficiently, you save valuable time to focus on other issues.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8. Number of questions

Select the number of times you will be presented with a question. The question
may be a repeated, or a new question. After you have been presented with the
number of questions you have specified, the quiz will end.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

9. The quiz

As the questions appear on the screen, they will be displayed in two separate
dialogue boxes. The first box contains the full command needed to complete the
operation, and the second a shorter command that will complete the same
task. Entering either the longest or shortest command into the answer box will
move you onto the next question. (Unless the answer is wrong in which case it
will display a cross in the corner and you will need to review your answer.)

There are some important things to note about this quiz.

1 - All commands are case sensitive, if you enter the correct answer
with a letter in the wrong case, the application will treat it
            as an incorrect answer.

2 - You will receive the same command multiple times throughout the
quiz to build confidence in using it.

3 - Updates to the database will occur regularly that can be down
loaded and installed. Please check the website for updates.

  www.otd.com.au.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

10. Timer

YES, the quiz is timed. At the conclusion of the quiz, you will be displayed a
simple dialogue box that shows the amount of time it took you to complete the
quiz.
