Alias99 is a utility that resides in the Windows 95/98 system
tray. Using the simple interface window, assign "aliases"
to the folders you use the most. Then, from the tray icon's
context menu, you can instantly change the selected folder
in a standard file open or file save dialog box. You can also
launch Windows Explorer or a Windows command prompt box
centered on an alias folder, using only two mouse clicks.
For any user of Windows 95, 98, or NT, Alias99 eliminates
the drudgery and time-consuming task of navigating to
often-used folders. If you work on a network, or with large
hard drives with many drive letters and deep folder nesting,
Alias99 will save you even more time. Version 1.5 incorporates
support for Windows NT as well as direct changing of the
dialog boxes in Microsoft Office 97 and Office 2000.

To install Alias99, extract the contents of this ZIP archive to
a temporary folder and run SETUP.EXE. You will be prompted for
the destination directory and walked through the installation.

This version of Alias99 is a freely distributable shareware
application. For terms of use, refer to LICENSE.TXT
