Active Registrar

Active Registrar is a utility for registering
and unregistering ActiveX servers. It can be
used as a standalone application or as an
Add-In for Visual Basic 5.

Some important notes before installing:

Visual Basic Runtime libraries must be
installed before you install Active Registrar.
Active Registrar is registered in the Registry
during installation and installation will fail
if the runtime libraries are not installed.
It is recommended that you install the latest
versions of the runtime libraries. You need to,
at least, use runtime libraries from Visual Basic
Service Pack 2. If you have trouble finding
them check my WebSite for information.

To use Active Registrar as an Add-In, Visual
Basic must have Visual Basic Service Pack 2 or
later installed. If not you will get a "Wrong
Version of Runtime" error message when opening
the application.

 Active Registrar shells the "regsvr32.exe"
application to perform server registration.
This file is installed in the same directory
as the Active Registrar executable. If you
have a newer version of "regsvr32.exe" than
the one that comes with Active Registrar, then
you can either replace the one in the application
directory with the newer one, or you can delete it,
as long as your new one is in the search path.

Active Registrar is provided without warranty or
guarantee. You must install it on your computer with
your own discretion. It has been tested thoroughly but
I can not be responsible for any damage that may occur
by using this software.

To Install Active Registrar, unzip the contents of
the zip file to an empty directory. Then run the
"setup.exe" file and follow the instructions.
