INTRODUCTION
------------
Shorthand is the typing utility that works with most
Win95, Win98 and WinNT 4.x applications. You define keywords
and shortcuts for your text and Shorthand will replace your
keywords AS YOU TYPE (just like MS WORD's AutoCorrect
wizard!).

If you do a lot of typing, Shorthand can easily pay
for itself in a few days. Some users have reported
that they were able to cut down up to 90% of their
keystrokes by using Shorthand. To see how much
time Shorthand saved you, select Statistics from
Shorthand's Help menu.

If you are a current user of Shorthand, please see the
SH7WHATSNEW.TXT file (represented by the "What's New"
icon in the Shorthand 7 folder) for a description of new
features.

COMPATIBILITY
-------------
This version of Shorthand has been tested on
Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0
(Service Pack 3 and 4). Shorthand works
with almost all Windows GUI programs including
dialog boxes. Shorthand will NOT work with
DOS programs or text-only programs running in a
Windows console. See the Troubleshooting
section in the Shorthand help file if you
experience problems.

DISTRIBUTION LICENSE
--------------------

uploaded to any public bulletin board such as Compuserve,
