WinAnalyst is a program that gives general information about 
the system, its memory and drives as well as more specialized 
information about applications, processes and performance 
counters. It is a program that can be used by a novice as 
well as experienced user. Its basic functionality allows the 
user to watch key system factors, such as processor utilization 
and memory utilization. This information is presented in an 
easily comprehensible graphical manner with a history of 
approximately sixty seconds. It also shows this information 
on a task bar for easy access when working with other 
applications. The other main features include indicators of 
virtual memory usage, swap file usage, disk cache usage and 
page faults. 
For people interested in programs running in the system there
is an information about all processes and applications 
currently executed. It shows all dlls and dependent files 
being used, all threads with their Ids and priorities, and 
detailed information about window styles created by an 
application.
WinAnalyst allows the user to observe basic characteristics 
and usage of all hard drives that the system contains. It 
includes all network drives mapped in the system.
Overall, the program is very helpful in gaining understanding
of the inner workings of the computer system and identifying 
system components and potential performance problems.
WinAnalyst is a 32-bit program. It requires Windows 95 or 
Windows 98 and approximately 1 MB of space on a hard disk.
