Tsoft's Registration Key System               March 5, 1995
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
for Tsoft's NFS Clients
   Some users have expressed concern about our registration key system,
worried that it might hinder their use of the software.  The system
is intended to be completely non-intrusive.  The key removes the
registration reminder screen at software load, and the per-invocation
usage timeout in evaluation mode.  It adds a two line personalized
message at program start.  If you have purchased a multi-machine
license, there is *no per-machine configuration* to do, you simply
copy the TSNFS.REG key file along with the rest of the files, or
use the INSTKEY program to install the key into the NFSINIT.OVL binary to
create a master set; in other words, when you FTP or download a new
release that you're entitled to use (ie, within one year of your license
date), you simply install the key file once and forget about it.
   If you're still not convinced, we're offering keyless distributions
to site-license holders (5 or more copies) via traditional distribution
methods.  You can request them and updates during your free-upgrade period
for a small charge to cover disks and shipping of $3-5 domestic/foreign
(per update).  We also consider emailing uuencoded copies at no charge;
please contact us.  We hope you'll try our key system, see how non-intrusive
it is, and find it a reasonable nudge to helping enforce our copyright.
