Welcome to the Poqet PC Wiki! This will be a one-stop resource for the one-pound IBM PC/XT compatible known as the Poqet PC! Here there (will be) are resources on buying Poqets, software for the device, using the Poqet, Poqet specs, and suggestions for using the machine better and taking care of it. Also there will be resources for the PC Plus and Fujitsu's special PoqetPad series. Currently the site is not fully active. Go to sites listed below for more information on the Poqet.
Introduction / What is a Poqet?
As mentioned above, the Poqet PC was a very small, light notebook, in fact a subnotebook. It is, quite simply, a PC in a very small case. They are akin to HP's 95LX, 100LX, and 200LX. The Poqets were originally released in 1989 for a price of $2000, and they ran DOS 3.3 and later 5.0.
